Daito Group has launched a biomass initiative, producing electricity using lumber from forest-thinning that is usually left on the forest floor and wood waste from building construction as fuel.
Asago Biomass ビンゴ5予想 Plant in Hyogo Prefecture, which began operation in April 2024, uses mainly thinned wood from local forests as its fuel source. Through this initiative, we are able to reduce our effective CO2 emissions to zero, and are forecast to achieve a renewable energy adoption rate of over 50% for the Group in Japan. Moreover, effective use of forest thinnings leads to better forest management, contributing to the creation of a sound forestry cycle. In addition, the wood resources used as fuel in biomass ビンゴ5予想 generation are often provided by rural communities, which contributes to the revitalization of regional economies.
Approximately 90% of Daito Group’s buildings are in fact wooden constructions. Therefore, as a company that uses large amounts of wood, ensuring we completely use it without waste is a significant duty.

Asago Biomass ビンゴ5予想 Plant has signed a disaster cooperation agreement with Asago City. The ビンゴ5予想 plant has systems in place to provide support to the local community in times of emergency in the following ways.
- Storage of emergency supplies
- Supply of fresh water free of charge
- Provision of electricity to the community
In emergencies, the ビンゴ5予想 plant is able to provide electricity to the local community, assuming the facility itself has not been damaged. Additionally, by using wood residue as a fuel source, which can be dangerous if left in mountain forests, we help reduce the risk of landslides.
Towards the Realization of a Sustainable ビンゴ5予想
Approximately 90% of buildings constructed by Daito Group are wooden buildings, and because we use such large quantities, we consider it a key responsibility to utilize it fully, without waste. By using lumber from local forest-thinning and unused lumber, we aim to achieve carbon neutrality, effectively reducing our CO2 emissions to zero.
